As expected, during today’s Nintendo Direct the company unveiled that the highly anticipated New 3DS XL will in fact be making its way over to North America.
Unfortunately, for those looking to sport the customizable faceplates, Nintendo announced that only the 3DS XL, which does not have customizable faceplates, will be available in North America.
In addition to the black one, the New 3DS XL will also be available in red, this opposed to the blue one which was originally sold in Japan and Australia. Furthermore, the New 3DS XL will not include an AC adapter, however the original 3DS adapter will work just as well.
The upgraded handheld will hit stores in less then one month on February 13th for $200.
