Just recently BioWare, developer of the hit title Mass Effect 3, announced that the upcoming packs Mass Effect 3: Citadel and Mass Effect 3: Reckoning would be the final packs for the game. Here is a quick rundown on what to expect.
Mass Effect 3: Citadel
Mass Effect 3: Citadel is a single-player expansion to the game. The expansion revolves around a conspiracy targeting Commander Shepard. You and your team must uncover the truth revolving the plot, fighting alongside characters from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 games.
Fighting baddies isn’t all the fun though. You can reconnect with your favorite characters, play at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, compete in the Armax Combat Arena, and get back to rekindle those steamy romances. It truly is the perfect way to say goodbye to all of your favorite characters.
The DLC hits “the shelves” March 5th. You can grab it for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points.
Mass Effect 3: Reckoning
The next DLC is another multiplayer expansion to the ever-fun cooperative mode of Mass Effect 3. The DLC includes:
- Five multiplayer characters: Geth Juggernaut, Cabal Vanguard, Talon Mercenary, Krogan Warlord, and an Alliance Infiltration Unit
- Seven new weapons: Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle, Blood Pack Executioner Pistol (sounds very scary), Chakram Launcher Assault Rife, Blood Pack Punisher SMG, and an Adas Anti-synthetic Rifle
- New equipment and mods: Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Ultralight Materials
This DLC drops on February 26th and it is FREE!
So that will be the end of it all. Mass Effect 3 is an amazing game, and I can’t wait to say goodbye to all of those characters I fell in love with. This is Tony “The BoneShackles” Dupre signing off! Y’all can check me out on the Twitters if you like: @BoneShackles
